: All procedures involving mice were conducted in accordance with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committees of the Universidad Católica del Maule (Protocol no. FOLIO CICUAL 08–2022; FOLIO CICUAL 15–2025) and the University of Massachusetts. Cat ovaries were obtained from routine ovariohysterectomies performed in local veterinary clinics for clinical or reproductive control purposes and transported to the laboratory immediately after surgery. Tissue collection was carried out post-surgery with written authorization from the attending veterinarian, in compliance with Chilean Law N° 20.380 on Animal Protection and Decree N° 29/2013 of the Ministry of Agriculture.
