: Ethics approvals for both AOK (HSEARS20160406005) and VOLTZ (HSEARS20170118004) studies were obtained from the Human Subject Ethics Subcommittee of the School of Optometry of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. For the AOK study, ethics approval was also obtained from the Institutional Review Board of The University of Hong Kong (HKU)/Hospital Authority Hong Kong West Cluster. All children provided assent and parents provided informed consent before participation.
