: LSK is a soil scientist at the Forestry Research Centre (CRDPI), Pointe-Noire, Congo. She works on soil organic matter (both C and N) and phosphorus dynamics in the mixed-species of eucalypts and <i>Acacia mangium</i> plantations established in the Congolese coastal plains.DMR is Director of the DST-NRF Centre of Excellence for Invasion Biology (ExternalRef removed) and Distinguished Professor of Ecology at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. His research focusses on the ecology and management of invasive plants, especially trees and he has worked on many of the 23 species of Australian acacias known to be invasive in different parts of the world.
