: The study was approved by The North Denmark Region Committee on Health Research Ethics (Approval No: N-20180027). Patients were recruited by public invitation through Facebook or admitted to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Aalborg University Hospital, Denmark, for implant placement in the posterior part of the maxilla.
