Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The study protocols were reviewed and approved by the Ethical Review Committee of Wolkite University (<i>Ref.No.RCSUIL/08/19</i>). A letter of permission was obtained from Guragea Zone health department and each district’s health office. The objectives, as well as the nature of the study, were explained to each selected health facility director and laboratory manager. On the other side, the findings of the study are believed to benefit indirectly through the improvement of the health care system.
