: We sought permission to use the data from the MoH. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provided a non-research determination for this project. The date used in this analysis was aggregated national surveillance data that did not have individual patient details; hence there was no requirement for patient informed consent. We stored data in password-protected computers and only the study team had access to the data.
