: The study was approved byGulu University Research Ethics Committee (Reference number: GUREC -028-19). At the district level, permission was granted by the Chief Administrative Officer of Gulu district, while at the sub-counties and divisions, permission was sought from LC III Chirpersons. At the village level, Local council I Chairpersons granted permission. At the individual level, the respondent was asked to consent by either appending his or her signature or the thumb print on the consent form before being interviewed. Before participating in the study, respondents were assured of confidentiality that codes would be used instead of their names.
