: This study is a further analysis based on EDHS 2016 data, thus no separate ethical approval was required. However, EDHS 2016 was performed in accordance with the standard ethical guidelines of the DHS program and all methods were performed in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations (Declaration of Helsinki). Accordingly, the ethical clearance was obtained from the Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research Institute (EHNRI) Review Board, the National Research Ethics Review Committee (NRERC) at the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Institutional Review Board of ICF International, and the CDC. Informed consent was also obtained from all participants where informed consent for children was obtained from their parents/guardians.
