: All protocols involving human data have to be prepared in accordance with the guidelines of Declaration of Helsinki. Accordingly, all methods were carried out in accordance with the Medical Research Council of Zimbabwe (MRCZ) Guidelines. Ethical clearance was obtained from the institutional review board (IRB) of the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Biomedical Research and Ethics Committee (BE109/19) as well as by the Medical Research Council of Zimbabwe (MRCZ/A/2479). Mothers/caregivers of children were explained the data collection processes to be conducted and signed a consent form as a sign of agreeing to the processes explained. The right to withdraw from the study at any time was also communicated. Adequate clarification was made on any concern study participants had. Anonymity and confidentiality of the information was assured and privacy of each respondent was maintained throughout the data collection process. Only mothers/caregivers who provided written informed consent were interviewed.
