: This study was conducted following ethics directives related to research on humans in Cameroon. The study received ethical clearance from the Institutional Committee of Ethics for Research for Human Health of the University of Douala (N° CEI-UDO/301/12/2015/T) and, administrative agreement (N°5317/AR/MINSANTE/DHL/CM) was obtained from the Director of Laquintinie Hospital. Before enrollment and the administration of questionnaire, parents and adolescents were informed on the purpose and process of the investigation and a signed informed consent was obtained from the children’s parents/guardians. Furthermore, in addition to this informed consent, adolescents (patients 10 years and above) without prejudice also signed an assent form before enrolment in the study. Respect for the confidentiality of the data collected throughout the duration of the study was ensure.
