The Committee on Human Research, Publication, and Ethics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi, provided ethical approval (Ref. No. CHRPE/AP/005/22). The Kumbungu District Health Directorate granted permission for the study to be conducted. The subjects aged 18 or 19 years signed written informed consent form before being enrolled into the study. The parents of those who were under the age of 18 years or could not read or write signed the written informed consent form to allow their children to participate in the study.
