: This study was undertaken following the guidelines outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. The DHS-V has obtained a statistical visa from the National Statistics Council and a favourable ethical opinion from the National Ethics Committee for Health Research in Benin. Additionally, the survey protocol was reviewed and approved by the ICF Ethics Committee. Before conducting interviews, informed consent was obtained from eligible respondents, who were either mothers or caregivers. Anthropometric measurements of children were carried out after obtaining authorization from the mothers or caregivers.
