: Ethical clearance to conduct this study was obtained from Haramaya University (HrU), the College of Health and Medical Sciences (CHMS), and the Institutional Health Research Ethics Review Committee (IHRERC) with the IHRERC protocol number of IHRERC/152/2023. Moreover, this study adhered to the ethical principles of medical research as outlined by the Helsinki declaration. The official letter of support obtained from the CHMS was submitted to Chiro General Hospital. The head/administer of the hospital was clearly informed about the purpose, procedures, risks and benefits of the study. Informed, voluntary, written and signed consent was subsequently obtained from the hospital head. Confidentiality of the collected data was maintained throughout the research process by removing personal identifiers.
