: This study was approved by the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) Institutional Review Board (Protocol No. EPHI-IRB-493-2022) and was conducted in accordance with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki []. Verbal informed consent was electronically recorded from all participants before the interviews commenced. Interviews were held in settings selected by participants, with sufficient time provided to explain the study and address any concerns. Trained interviewers handled sensitive topics with care, and participants were informed of their right to skip any questions if they preferred. No monetary incentives were offered; however, each household received two bars of soap to promote hygiene. Participant confidentiality was strictly maintained throughout the study.
