: The survey received ethical approval from the National Research Ethics Review Committee (NRERC) of Ethiopia with MOH/IMD/13/5/004 before its commencement. And the DHS research protocol obeys with the Helsinki declaration. As this study used secondary data sets, publicly available DHS dataset, additional ethical permissions were not taken by the authors. Informed consent was obtained by original data collectors, and no direct participant interaction occurs. Prior to analysis, permission to access the dataset was obtained from the Demographic and Health Survey program.
