: According to the principles set out in the Helsinki protocol, before data collection, the methodology and data collection tools were validated by authorization No. 2021-01-028 of the ethics committee for health research, which belong Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of Burkina Faso. A reference survey authorization No.2021/00042/MS/RCO/DRS-CO was issued by the authorities of the Regional Health Directorate of the Center-West and the Health District from Léo in Burkina Faso. In addition, for ethical reasons, the personal consent and favourable opinion of the study subjects were mandatory. The technique used to obtain the mothers’ voluntary consent was to explain the aim, importance and scope of the study before interviews. The mothers were also reassured of the anonymity and confidentiality of the information to be collected. No images, personal data or clinical data compromising the anonymity of participants were collected during the study. Informed consent forms were signed by participants and there aren’t any compensations.
