: The study was conducted according to the guidelines laid down in the Declaration of Helsinki and all procedures involving human subjects were approved by the Norwegian Centre for Research Data (reference number: 761112).KIA participants who entered the nutrition course were asked by the first author (NWR) to participate in a study about experiences of maintaining a healthy diet. The participants were given an information sheet about the project and a consent form. Those who wanted to participate signed the consent form. Written informed consent was obtained from all included participants. The participants were informed that involvement in the research project was voluntary and that they had the right to withdraw from the study at any time and for any reason, without any negative consequences for them. The study participants were informed that we would only use the information for the purposes of the present study, and that all data about them would be deleted at the end of this research project. The project description was formulated by KIA. The informed consent forms to participate in the facilitated workshop and the interview guide were supplied by VID.
: A written formal consent was sent to the participants. The participants were informed that the data collected would be analysed and published in a scientific paper. The participants were invited to be co-authors on the paper. One of the participants accepted the invitation (second author).
