: Data used for this study were obtained from a Salmonella sanitation process of a farrow-to-finish production chain (piglet producer, piglet rearer and four fatteners). Blood sampling was performed in the nursery farm during routine herd inspections by experienced herd veterinarians. Herd health monitoring aimed at continuous assessment of the proportion of <i>Salmonella</i> seroreagents in subsequent nursery groups in the course of the sanitation process.
