: The survey B-2018 involving the collection of blood samples from live animals in herds was organized by the Association Nationale Sanitaire Porcine (ANSP) with the support of regional professional organizations while informing the food department of the Ministry of agriculture. Consent was obtained from each breeder, all of whom were informed about the study. Breeders selected at random were allowed to choose their own veterinarian to collect the samples from their animals. Hence, samples were collected by veterinarians in the context of diagnostic activity which does not fall within the scope of animal experimentation and therefore does not require assessment by an ethical committee.
