: The proposed study has received ethical approval from the Queensland Children’s Hospital (QCH) and Health Services Human Research Ethical Committee (HREC) (approval number: HREC/19/QCHQ/53945). Consent is not required for the study protocol; yet, parents will provide written consent for them and their children to participate in the study, and all children aged 5 years or older will provide verbal assent. Written consent will also be sought from clinicians performing children’s burns dressing changes.
