: Ethical approval was received via the Integrated Research Application System (266145) and the East Midlands, Nottingham Research Ethics Committee (20/EM/0077) and Health Research Authority on 3 April 2020. Approval of the revised protocol was received on 3 February 2021. Each trial site will confirm the local NHS Trust Research & Development (R&D) department’s capacity and capability prior to commencing recruitment. All participants will provide written informed consent. UHCW NHS Trust and Coventry University are co-sponsors for the trial.
