: Ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Ethics Boards (Ref No-131/2018). Along with this, approval was obtained by the Health Ministry’s Screening Committee, Indian Council of Medical Research, Government of India (ID No-2018-0408). Regulatory approvals from the medical officer in-charge of the respective PHCs were obtained before the start of the study. Participants were briefed in local language about the purpose of the study and his/her rights as a participant, and a written consent was taken from them. Adolescents below 18 years were asked to sign an assent form along with the consent from their parent/guardian. Those adolescents identified with the selected mental health condition requiring further management were referred to a psychiatry clinic. Participants were givenan unique participant identification number, after which their demographic details were delinked from the direct/indirect identifiers from the study records. The study data was accessible only to investigators.
