: The study protocol was assessed by the Regional Committee on Health Research Ethics, Capital Region, Denmark, March 23, 2023 (ID: 2106200699). The committee determined that in accordance with Danish law, the protocol did not qualify for ethics review, as all non-biomedical research projects fall outside the scope of eligibility for ethics assessment. All participating PE teachers as well as parents of pupils participating in interviews provided written consent for participation. Furthermore, pupils participating in interviews provided oral assent for participation.
