: The study protocol was reviewed and approved by the relevant institutional ethics review committees in each participating country - University of California San Diego and the Indian Council of Medical Research-National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health. All study procedures were conducted in accordance with internationally accepted ethical standards for research involving human participants, including the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki. Participants were provided written consent in the local language, Marathi, prior to enrollment. Participation was voluntary, and respondents were assured of confidentiality and the right to withdraw at any time without consequence.
