: The methods undertaken in the Discovery phase of the Kailo Programme were approved by the Centre for Social Policy (CSP) ethics committee. In line with CSP ethics committee recommendations, the way in which participants were engaged in this research does not count as “human participants”, as the intent was to gather their views to inform the development of a research agenda. All participants freely chose to participate in these events to contribute to the development of a research agenda in this area.
