: All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. In this manuscript, we present a reflective commentary based on our POR experiences, exempt from Research Ethics Board (REB) review as per Article 2.5 of the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans, TCPS 2 []. This article specifies that quality assurance and program evaluations, when aimed solely at assessment or improvement, do not constitute research requiring REB oversight. Our commentary aligns with this specification, focusing on research reflection rather than empirical research involving human participants. Although exempt from formal REB scrutiny, we have upheld ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality, respect, and transparency. Our approach adheres to the best practices of our disciplines, maintaining the integrity and ethical mindfulness expected in academic scholarship.
