: The screening log is routinely collected data within the main Giant PANDA study approved by the South East Research Ethics Committee (REC) (REC reference: 20/LO/1110, IRAS reference: 284958), the Medicines & Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and Health Research Authority (HRA) []. Other aspects of this project were part of a SWAP which focussed specifically on bringing a new dimension to PPIE work to consider the lived experience of people with MLTC []. Therefore, these workshops constituted patient and public involvement and engagement and stakeholder engagement in research rather than research participation, therefore formal ethical approval was not required which is in accordance with UK policy framework and guidance for health and social care research [–].
