: The NFHS-5 received ethical approval from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai (2019–21). It was also reviewed by the International Review Board (IRB), which approved it ethically. After receiving complete information about the goal and methodology of the survey, the respondents signed to confirm their agreement. Interviews were conducted only after receiving each participant’s informed consent.
