The study was reviewed and approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Uganda Christian University (UCUREC) under reference number (UCUREC – 2023–786), administrative clearance was also provided by the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) and District chairperson of Rakai district to carry out the study in the community.
