: Ethical approval for the study was obtained from the Jimma University Institutional Review Board (IRB), under reference number IRB000385/2012. The IRB also granted permission to use verbal informed consent from study participants. Additionally, authorization letters were obtained from the Jimma Zonal Health Department, followed by approvals from two selected districts and their respective kebeles to facilitate site identification.
