: Ethical approval for the study was obtained from the Ethical Review Committee (ERC) of the Department of Medical Research, Myanmar (Ethics/DMR/2018/030) and from the Union Ethics Advisory Group of the International Union of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union), Paris, France (75/17). Administrative permission for the study was sought from the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP), Myanmar. Written informed consent was obtained from the participants for participation in interviews and focus group discussions, and a separate written consent was also obtained for audio-recording the proceedings.
