: The study sought ethical approval from the Makerere University School of Health Sciences Research Ethics Committee (Ref: MAKSHSREC-2020-72), Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (Ref: HS1278ES), and Kampala Capital City Authority (Ref: DPHE/KCCA/1301). The research was conducted in conformity to the national guidelines for the conduct of research in the COVID-19 era established by the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (UNCST) [].
