: This qualitative study obtained ethical approval from the University of Gondar (VP/RTT/05/2941/2021). Support letters were obtained from the Amhara Public Health Institute and the district health office. All study participants were informed about the purpose of the study and their right to participate and withdraw from the study at any time. Written informed consent was obtained from each participant to be interviewed and audio recorded. All identifiers were removed from the data to maximize confidentiality.
