Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Before running each experiment, we consulted the ethics committees at the University of Oslo (Experiments 1 and 2) and the University of Mannheim (Experiments 3 and 4), respectively. The committees did not express any concerns about our experiments and we followed all of their recommendations in conducting the studies. All participants provided their consent to participate and were fully debriefed after participation.
