Declarations
:
: The KIDMO study protocol was peer-reviewed and approved by the scientific committee of the STCS (FUP 192). The KIDMO study and data protection strategy was approved by the local ethics committee (KEK Bern; 2022-01375). All transplant recipients sign an informed consent in the STCS. For data on deceased donors and kidney graft characteristics consent was impossible to obtain as these persons were ventilated and in intensive care with acute circulatory failure or with a diagnosis of brain death. We have approval from the ethics committee to use these data by way of an exemption according to the Swiss law (art. 34 HRA).
