: The study was conducted as part of the national quality assurance project titled “Nasjonale brukererfaringsundersøkelser med barne- og ungdomspsykiatriske poliklinikker 2022-26” (“National User Experience Surveys of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Outpatient Clinics 2022-26”). The Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) for this project was approved by Research Director Frederik Frøen of the NIPH Division of Health Services, and the Norwegian Directorate of Health granted an exemption from confidentiality obligations, allowing for the collection of background data for both respondents and non-respondents. According to the Norwegian Regional Committees for Medical and Health Research Ethics, quality assurance projects do not require research ethics approval. Informed consent was obtained from all participants, with the return of completed questionnaires serving as consent, following standard procedures used by the NIPH for patient-experience surveys. Patients were informed that participation was voluntary. The study adhered to the Declaration of Helsinki and other relevant guidelines and regulations.
