The EMR demographics and admission data were de-identified upon extraction by Sydney Virtual. The PREM survey was de-identified and anonymised upon collection and provided by Sydney Virtual. Patients were informed that participation in the PREM surveys was voluntary and anonymous. The survey did not elicit sensitive information or identifiable demographic characteristics, and no linkage key was created.
