: The study was conducted according to the guidelines of the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by the Ethics Committee of “Gheorghe Preda” Clinical Psychiatry Hospital (No. 1439/A8/02.02.2022). Informed consent was obtained from the mother of the deceased involved in the study.This case was the subject of an oral PowerPoint presentation in Romanian at the national conference “Psychiatry and forensic psychology—inter and transdisciplinarity,” on December 10–11, 2021, entitled “A new interpretation of the syntagma—hitting one’s head against the walls—atypical suicide, case presentation.” Its summary was published (also in Romanian) in the summary book of this conference. This paper is an extension of the previous presentation, extending the analysis of the important role played by psychological autopsy in the investigation of committed suicide and also including a review of the literature.
