: Ethical approval was obtained from the institutional review board (IRB) of the school of biomedicine, MakCHs (SBS-REC-124). However, consent to participate was waived by the chairperson of the IRB due to retrospective nature of the study. All the methodological approaches in this study were according to regulations and guidelines guiding researches both locally and internationally. Permission to access the patients’ files and histopathology laboratory requisition forms was obtained from the head of medical records, MNRH, and head of department of pathology, Makerere University.
