Ethics approval and consent to participate

: Approval of the study protocol was obtained from the Ethical Committee at the Public Health and Community Medicine Department at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. However, the Committee does not provide us with a reference number for approval. After taking the required permissions, the researcher explained the research and its objectives to the school manager and asked for his assistance to perform the study. Written informed consents were obtained from parents after explaining the purpose and procedures of the study, while adolescent assent forms were obtained from students. The students were informed about the confidentiality of the data and that any information obtained that will identify them will remain confidential and will be disclosed only with their permission. Students were also informed that they had the right to withdraw from the study at any time without penalty or loss of benefits to which they were otherwise entitled.

: Written informed consents from parents and adolescent assents from students were obtained for publication.
