: Ethical approval was obtained from Ethics Review Committee of Assiut Faculty of Medicine. Administrative approvals were obtained from the Ministry of Health in Assiut and Sohag governorates for participation of the public health units and the private clinics in the study. The request form approved by the Ministry of Health included a clarification of the study objectives and a full description of the “simulated client’s approach.” Written informed consent was obtained from all the participants included in the study. They knew that they would be receiving a mystery client visit throughout a certain period; they were only blind to the exact date of the visit. To our knowledge, providers did not identify simulated clients during their visit, although they were informed about the potential for a simulated client visit by their facility supervisor and consented to participate in the study. The study data was confidential and was only used for research purposes, with obscuring all private data of the providers visited and not declaring the sites of the visits. All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
: The written informed consent for the participation in the study included a statement for publication consent.
