Ethical approval was granted by the Research Ethics Committee of the College of Medicine, Jabir Ibn Hayyan University (Reference No. 5911/October 2025) and endorsed at institutional level (Reference No. 1208/February 2026). Additional site-specific approvals were obtained from Al-Zahraa Teaching Hospital and the Women’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital in Najaf (9 September 2025).
