: Takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TTC) resembles acute coronary syndrome (ACS) but lacks coronary artery obstruction, featuring transient dyskinesia in the left ventricular wall. Acute and severe systolic dysfunction is reversible with a favorable long-term prognosis. Triggered by emotional or physical stress, its exact cause is unknown. This study explores single center experience of the demographics, clinical features, and mid-term outcomes of TTC in patients hospitalized for ACS over a 70-month period in a single cardiac center.
