: Cairo University ethical committee has approved the study. Parents or guardians did not need to provide consent because of the retrospective design apart from the general concent taken from all admitted patients in the intensive care unit which stated that their data can be included in a research study without invasion of confidentiality and without doing extra investigations or medical management solely for research purposes.
