Ethics approval and consent to participate

: This project is jointly supported by the VA Quality Enhancement Research Initiative (QUERI), Women’s Health Services, Office of Patient Care Services, and the VA Los Angeles HSR&D Center for the Study of Healthcare Innovation, Implementation, and Policy (CSHIIP) at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System and was determined to be an internal operations evaluation in support of VA quality improvement. VA Central Office and the IRB at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System designated and approved the evaluation as non-research. As a non-research evaluation, participants will not be formally consented, but they are also not mandated to participate and can opt out from completing surveys and/or interviews. Instead, their consent is implied through their completion of project surveys and interviews.No animals are or will be involved in this study protocol. Similarly, use of animal or human data or tissue is not applicable to this study protocol.

: No individual person’s data in any form are or will be included in this or subsequent manuscripts. Only aggregated patient, clinician, and staff survey data will be reported. For key stakeholder interview data, non-attributed or identifiable quotes may be reported in addition to thematic summaries.
