: The study was approved by the University of Arizona Institutional Review Board (IRB) and regulatory bodies for the two participating AI-serving study clinics. Colorectal cancer screening as implemented in the study population at participating facilities is part of usual care. No health intervention meeting criteria for a clinical trial is involved. Accordingly, exemption from obtaining informed consent from patients undergoing CRC screening was granted.
