: Before the study, the University of Nairobi/Kenyatta National Hospital Ethics and Research Committee had approved the protocol (KNH-ERC/UA/351). Patient data was protected to the greatest extent practicable. Anonymity was also employed to protect confidentiality. Patients were identified by their initials and a unique patient identification number. The information obtained was used for its intended purpose. An informed consent waiver was obtained from the Institutional Review Board due to the retrospective nature of the study.
