: Modeling and Optimal location of Generalized Optimal Unified Power Flow Controller (GOUPFC) is proposed based on Line Collapse Point Indicator. WO-BAT hybrid algorithm is used for solving the complex and multi-objective optimization problem. Simulations are analysed for different RES penetration levels such as 0, 30% and 50% and GOUPFC device under single line contingency conditions. The effectiveness of the WO-BAT approach for solving the OPF problem including GOUPFC is illustrated using standard IEEE 57-bus systems and compared with WOA and BAT algorithms.
