: Fresh leaves of L. patersonii (Andrews) G. Don. were collected from the private garden ′′El-Abd Botanical Garden ′′ (Cairo Alex. Desert Road, Egypt) in January 2022. The collection of plant was established after the required permission from Agricultural Research Center, Giza, Egypt. The plant was authenticated by Mrs. Therese Labib, a specializing consultant in botanical gardens and plant taxonomy. A sample voucher numbered 27.02.2022I, has been preserved in the herbarium of the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University.
