: The studies on human OAT were approved by the Second Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (Approval number: 2020-528). Biopsies from visceral adipose tissue from human omental adipose tissue (OAT) were obtained from 47 individuals and with their informed written consent after the nature and possible consequences of the studies were explained. All animal studies were performed under a protocol approved by the University Committee on Use and Care of Animals at the Anhui Medical University (LLSC20221129).
